Customers demand special compositions of this oil. These require an intensive production process by re-blending various fractions and isolates to provide the required fragrance. It puts massive pressure on production costs. Suppliers don’t maintain stocks of cedarwood oil, and the lead times vary from 8 to 12 weeks, though a surge in demand has reduced these lead times.
