Sage grows well in Eastern Europe’s sunny, dry, and moderately warm climates. It prefers well-drained calcareous or sandy soils to flourish. Regions in Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova cultivate sage extensively, with the herb’s resilience making it well suited to the long dry spells that have affected the area. Production of sage oil was completed in early August. Yield was satisfactory and product should be readily available.

Oil price is expected to remain stable.

    Market prices : USD 88.00 /kilo
