Brazil is one of the world’s leading producers of eucalyptus oil. The country’s eucalyptus plantations are concentrated in states such as São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Bahia. Eucalyptus thrives in well drained soils, ranging from sandy loams to clay loams, with good fertility and a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Eucalyptus Citriodora is produced through the year, but midyear has the highest productivity. Rainy season between November-February impacts production, resulting in lower volumes.
