    Lavandin Super is obtained by the steam distillation from flowering herbs of Lavandula hybrida. Pale yellow in colour imparts Camphoraceous, floral, fresh in odour

    The aerial parts of the plant are harvested from early July to late August, when the plant secretes the most essential oil. Once harvested, the aerial portions are chopped with a forage harvester and distilled without any prior drying. This technique is known as “green” (or “green ground” or “green crushed”) distillation. Lavandin and lavender essential-oil yields vary greatly depending on region, altitude, climate, year, and field age.

    Lavandin is said to have a number of therapeutic benefits in particular antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and analgesic properties. It helps in Acne, allergies, anxiety, asthma, athlete's foot, bruises, burns, chicken pox, colic, cuts, cystitis, depression, dermatitis, dysmenorrhoea, earache, flatulence, headache, hypertension, insect bites, insect repellent, itching, labour pains, migraine, rheumatism, scabies, scars, sores, sprains, strains, stress, stretch marks and vertigo.

    It blends well with Clove, Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Citronella, Cypress, Pine, Clary Sage, Geranium, Thyme, Patchouli, Rosemary, and Citrus Oils especially Bergamot and Lime.
