Indonesia is steeped in history when it comes to coffee, in particular the Arabica type. Known as the ‘Mountain Coffee’ it is thought the Arabic bean was the first to be cultivated and exported to the world.
Around 100 years after the discovery of Arabica came the Robusta bean, which was formally recognised back in 1897. Both typically come from Sumatra although can also be found in parts of Aceh and Java.
Indonesia accounts for around 15% of the world production for these two types of beans.
Indonesia has the worlds 5th largest tobacco market. As a result cultivation of tobacco is very competitive and also considered to be of the highest quality accutane capsules. Botanical extracts produced from Indonesian tobacco leaves have a very distinctive flavour and aroma which is highly desired by the international market.
This vanilla extract is made from hand selected high quality vanilla beans and is extracted through hot extraction using a solvent. The Indonesian vanilla is very well known for its unique flavour which has a subtle but effective hint of chocolate.
