SFHE – Humana People to People February 22, 2016
Humana People to People India, in partnership with Sanganeria Foundation, has been engaged in providing access to education to out-of-school children and never been to school children since 2007. Over the years, the Academy for Working Children has contributed towards the comprehensive growth of these children by involving them in various activities like sports and cultural programmes, life skills education, drawing and art programme, thematic weeks, cleanliness drives, etc. Also, there has been constant community mobilisation drives to sensitise the people on the advantages and necessity of getting their children educated.
Furthermore, considering the soaring demand of energy for cooking and illumination along with the depleting natural resources and to contribute to the improvement of the economic status and quality of life of poor subsistence farmer’s families through the provision and promotion of biogas technology, Sanganeria Foundation along with its sister concern, Ultra International joined hands with HPPI in March, 2015 to construct 50 biogas plants in Sikar district of Rajasthan.
