IFEAT CARTAGENA 2018 October 3, 2018

IFEAT’s recently concluded gathering at Cartagena, Colombia witnessed a flurry of bustling activity at our meeting room. The enthusiastic team of the Ultra Group of Companies, Van Aroma and Golden Grove Naturals, was kept busy with visitors keen to explore products and partnerships. It gave us an opportune platform to showcase our enhanced strengths in sourcing and operations. Evenings were the perfect sign-off to the busy day with entertainment, networking, and unwinding.

The International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades (IFEAT) was conceived in 1976 in London. Growing in strength year on year, the Federation today boasts of diverse professionals from the food, fragrance and allied industries from over 682 companies across 69 countries. It has become a coveted forum for furthering knowledge, cross-exchange of ideas, international collaboration and business transactions.

Come September 2019, all roads (and flights) lead to Bali, Indonesia. A favourite destination in the Indonesian archipelago, Bali is basking in the fragrant limelight of the upcoming IFEAT 2019. This time, this prestigious world conference holds a special significance since Mr Ravi Sanganeria is joint chairperson with Mr Stephen Pissano, Citrus and Allied, USA. Mr Sandeep Tekriwal, Van Aroma is set to steer the proceedings as part of the local organising committee. The decision to host IFEAT 2019 in Bali was enthusiastically applauded at the formal announcement at the Annual General Meeting in Cartagena this year.

Bali brings to mind a cornucopia of awe-inspiring natural wonders, and flora and fauna. With calm beaches, emerald paddy fields, smouldering forested volcanoes, art, and culture, Bali is a fusion of the old and the new. You can find your zen in deep-sea diving, spas, quad-bike adventures, temple visits or a high dose of culture quotient. Can any other place match up to Bali’s famed exotica? It has aptly earned the moniker “Island of the Gods”.

We look forward to welcoming you to Bali.
